I used the bassinet on the cradle next to the bed for 3 months before getting a crib. On the cradle it was the perfect height next to the bed for easy checking on baby, giving him a pacifier, and feedings during the night. I still use it when I'm out late so my baby has a bed on the go. What I love even more is how it looks on the stroller.
