- I am so glad we got one of these at the baby shower. Our baby really enjoyed being swaddled those first couple of months and this was our go-to swaddle blanket. The fabric is thick and soft, like a really nice t-shirt material. It was easy to bundle her up and she loved it. It might be a little warm if you have a summer baby, but other than that this is what you want! I now keep an extra one on hand to monogram for the next baby gift we need to give!
- I was disappointed to receive a simple square piece of fabric with no instructions. The description says the instructions are included, but they aren't. The edge of the square of fabric was hemmed, but the raw, unfinished edge still shows (they didn't bother to turn it under when they hemmed). Fortunately, it doesn't look like it will unravel/fray. The hat barely fits on my 5-week-old's average-size head. I expected this blanket to be something special, but I could have saved myself some money by just buying a yard and 6 inches of stretchy cotton fabric.
