- We have been using this swaddle blanket with our daughter since she was 2 months old and she is now 3 months old. Based on the size I anticipate being able to use it with her as an effective swaddle blanket until she is about 6 or 7 months old, maybe longer, depending on how fast she grows. It is a nice solid material. The fabric is not quite as stretchy as the first swaddle blankets we used when she was a newborn, but the fabric is nicely stretchy and the size is great for her now that she is bigger and still wants to be swaddled each night.
